Who are the Kings? Where is their castle and where do they rule?
Look no further than your average, every day guy and a kitchen. These guys join our kings, Anthony, Ricky, Dave and Riley, in learning how to put meals together and have a good time doing it. Our goal is to have fun and create KINGS IN THE KITCHEN.
Do you know a guy who can light water on fire or who has blown up a chicken in an oven? Is there local ordinance banning him from ever bbq-ing again? Then KINGS IN THE KITCHEN can help. Featuring ready-to-use products right off store shelves in easy-to-make recipes! Enjoy our free recipe cards, knighting ceremonies, cool hats, games, prizes, shirts and Grand Prize V.I.P. KITK Jacket giveaways.
For too long men have believed they are only good to run a BBQ. Now, by becoming KINGS IN THE KITCHEN, men do the work and ladies and loved ones can take the night off. Cool thing is, you don't have to be a trained Chef to make 5-Star meals. KITK doesn't use scratch cookery (raw flour, sugar and hours of cooking and baking), instead, KITK likes to serve 5-Star meals in a snap! Easy, ready-to-use products, right off of the shelf, are the name of the game.
REAL COOKING VS. VOYEUR COOKING SHOWS
“It’s one of the ironies of modern life that cooking shows and books are so popular when much of the time we eat on the move or settle down in front of the TV with a microwave dinner. The preparing, cooking, tasting and eating of food have become voyeuristic pleasures separated from physical reality.”
Marian Salzman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of JWT Worldwide advertising agency, comments on future trends in the modern food industry in a “A Few Things We’ll All Be Chewing On This Year,” The Miami Herald, 2007.
Ricky Pagan has been designing recipes for products which are available on grocery store shelves nationwide and internationally, for over 18 years. Along with Anthony Mongiello, they have earned 3 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze for their flavor profiles in elite national and international championships and competitions. They can be heard slinging hash and pulling pork every Friday between 7am and 9am on Bold Gold Media's Thunder Country 102.
Dave Locascio comes from a long line of New York City Meat District butchers so meat runs through his blood. SuperDave has also owned and operated the celebrated Locasio's restaurant of Liberty New York where his famous delicious recipes were enjoyed by discerning diners from near and far. Dave also has the distinction of being an actual Chef formally trained at the CIA.
Award-winning graphic designer and published photographer, James Riley, known simply as "RILEY" is KITK's producer, confidante, mentor and coach, or the "Merlin the Magician of the Kitchen", and sometimes known as "The Captain of Condiments".
This website, recipe cards, photos, etc are the kind of cooking that Riley does because he is a self-proclaimed dunce in the kitchen! Email Riley for his favorite KITK Recipe.
